30,000 downloads of Pow

Just four weeks after reaching 20,000 downloads we passed another myriad mark. Early this morning, the 30,000th download occurred.

It seems there are more than a few takers for this Javascript server.

    Now that Minefield (Firefox 3 “Gran Paradiso” pre-release) can execute a XULRunner app with firefox.exe -app /path/to/POW/application.ini, is there a way to download just the standalone POW XUL app without the XUL runtime?

    There’s no reason it should not work. Download it with curl or Safari or right-click on the link, since Firefox will try to load this as an extension.
